Hello,

My name is Tamara and I live in beautiful Mississauga, On. Canada.

After many years as a designer/draftsperson, I quit my job for a rest and to get in touch with my creative/artistic side. During my quest, I found Donna Dewberry's easy to learn "One Stroke" style of painting, it was very different from the pastel paintings I did but it got me painting again and after being certified, I started to teach in June 2001.

With lots of time to practice, my decorative painting skills grew immensely and soon I was able to offer a variety of projects including my own designs to the wonderful people who let me teach them, both adults as old as 83 and children as young as eight years old! I also provide on-going support to my students for their fun or profit projects.

After many requests and because of my drafting background, I've developed easy to follow classes on Composition and Perspective.

My passion grew after doing a Cathy Becker wall workshop to include wall decorating (murals) which I now do at affordable rates.

I'm passionate about teaching especially those who think that they can't paint, I have a wonderful surprise for them! I'm  also a passionate gardener. My garden inspires me to paint and write poetry and I've just completed an e-book of poems.

I feel truly blessed getting to know some wonderful inspiring artists along this journey.
